Michele & Chase’s Snowy Mt. Hood, OR Wedding by Powers Photography Studios

Timberline Lodge is a really magical place. Even though most people recognize it as one of the hotels used in The Shining, there is nothing creepy about this warm and inviting space.  Centered around a massive stone fireplace, the lodge is very cozy, intimate, and inviting. So, it’s a no-brainer why Michele and Chase chose this venue for their elopement. The couple is even perfectly addressed for the occasion, with Michele hiding snow boots under her wedding dress and Chase sporting a dashing navy shawl collar cardigan (I’m pretty sure he has convinced me that this ought to be the go-to wardrobe for rustic grooms).  Thank you to Powers Photography Studios for sharing this special wedding with us!
